Location: Rincon de Loix - 300m from Levante Beach

Description: These apartments are situated not very far up a not very steep hill in the Rincon de Loix, in Calle Amsterdam, which is the road that is the continuation of Calle Gerona. From here to the Square it is less than 15 mins. walk. And the indoor market and the shops in Avenida Ametlla de Mar are just a couple of minutes away. Please note that they do not accept bookings for Stag and Hen Parties, or bookings for more than three apartments, even if made in different names.

There is a swimming pool, which is open all year, with sun loungers available. There is no private parking. There are ramps which make it suitable for wheelchair and mobility scooter users, but the lift is not very big.

The apartments all have two bedrooms, each with two single beds, and have two single sofa beds in the lounge and sleep up to 6 people. The second bedroom is on the small side, as is the open balcony, which is, nevertheless, adequate. The kitchens have an oven, toaster and kettle, but no microwave. They have free satellite TV with some English channels (Sky News, True Movies, BBC and Eurosport, and some films on Spanish TV can be watched in their original version), and safe (2 euros per day).

Price includes the use of water, gas, electricity and cleaning on departure. Bed linen and towels are also supplied and changed weekly. Refundable deposit of 150 euros per apartment payable on arrival. The deposit can only be paid by credit/debit card.

Floors: The apartments are between the 1st and 16th floors.

2011-11-29Name WithheldEntry is along the side of the building and then around the back,entrance into the small non manned reception is by key and though the door is sprung it does not close fully on its own and needs that extra little push, potentially a safety hazzard should someone not realise and not do this. The side and back are lit, but one has to be watchfull when returning at night due to their remoteness. When we stayed in November 07 a man was attacked at the rear but he fought his attackers off. This made us aware, but if you do not know well! The apartment we stayed in this time march 08 booked for us by yourselfs was fine the oven did not work and two light bulbs had blown but hey it does not matter they could have easily been fixed had we asked, the apartment considering it was self catering lacked an electric kettle and a microwave and certain fixtures where hanging off the walls but these are minor things and one can knit pick forever. Love the apartments and do not wish to stay anywhere else. The apartments themselves are clean but in need of sprucing up here and there. The lock to the apartment is good. Patio door lock inside was non existent but did not matter as one cannot gain entrance to the apartment except by the door All in all you get what you pay for and the Mayra reflects this in the nicest possible way.The staff are most curtious though they do not speak english but this can be overcome with a little effort (Please see my note on your page)

If you want 5star you have to pay the price. These apartments are cheap and cheerful and I wouldnt hesitate in recommending them. In fact we are going again to them next year.

2010-10-09jackthe apartments was very nice .on the Thursday before we came home 4 out of 5 got bite by bugs .We reported it and they changed our apartment and got someone in to clean the apartment out.apart from this we was very pleased withit .We would go back there again .We ave been there a few times before and we have never had this before.
2010-09-17morrisDecor a bit dated - could do with microwave and fan. Very well looked after by Manageress Ramona who is very efficient and helpful. Bit rowdy at times with stag and hen parties coming in early morning but this is our 4th year there and suits us.

If you want luxury go and pay for it! only thing i will say is dont dive in the pool, its not deep enough.

Would not recommend the cafe attached to the appartments as the staff are very rude and told us not to come back, blaming us for the fact that they kept getting our order wrong, go to the english bar just next door, much better service and food and friendly staff.
